Use the Mounting Edge
The original product introduction describes a cable tie combined with an edge clip for routing cables along solar panel frames and mounting structures. This approach connects the cable bundle to a suitable edge. Selection starts with the geometry of that edge and the required cable route.
Record the Frame Details
Provide the edge thickness, profile and available clearance. A drawing or photograph of the intended mounting point helps explain where the clip will sit and how the bundle should leave the fastening. Identify any surfaces or nearby components that must be protected.
Describe Outdoor Conditions
For a photovoltaic project, include the expected exposure conditions and any project-specific material or test requirements. Request the specification and supporting documents for the proposed model. A general reference to solar use does not establish a service life or a qualification for every installation.
Evaluate the Assembly
- Check the clip fit on the actual frame profile.
- Confirm the tie length and bundle dimensions.
- Review cable clearance and the routing direction.
- Agree on the retention and environmental evaluation required by the project.
